Privacy & Data

Cookie Policy

This policy explains how and why NexusRN uses cookies and similar local storage technologies to provide our clinical judgment platform.

Minimal Tracking Philosophy

NexusRN is built with an engineering focus on local static delivery. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or invasive cross-site profiling cookies. Our storage is strictly for operational functionality.

Essential Local Storage

We use modern browser localStorage to:

  • Save your progress in the Workstation Pro practice area.
  • Remember your display preferences (e.g., zoom levels, dark mode toggles).
  • Keep track of items you have already answered so you receive fresh items.

Because this data is stored in your browser's local storage, it never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable account synchronization.

Authentication Cookies

If you register for an account (once live), secure, HttpOnly session cookies are used to keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary for the application to function securely.

Analytics & Performance

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics (which do not fingerprint or track you individually) to monitor application performance, detect errors, and see which NCLEX features are used most frequently to guide our development roadmap.

Managing Your Preferences

You can clear your local storage and cookies at any time via your browser settings. Be aware that clearing local storage will erase your local practice history and saved session state if you are not using a synchronized cloud account.
